Job title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Tripoli Office (City Based), Libya
Contractual period: One year employment - renewable.
Work Cycle: 42 working days on - 21 days off.
Working Hours: 6 days a week - 8 hours a day

Required qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 15 years work experience in oil & gas industry
• Sound working knowledge in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.), static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.), mounted skid packages, piping systems and stress analysis.
• Must have experience with well-known and reputable Engineering and Consultant firms.
• Must have some work experience in Oil & Gas production and operating companies.
• He must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited university.
• He must have sound computer skills.
• He should be familiar with N. America codes and Standards such as API, ASME, ANSI and other industry related standards.
• He should be able to review and approve P&ID's, equipment/mechanical data sheets, piping drawings with respect to process performance and specifications.
• Should have excellent communications skills and provide mechanical data as an input to other disciplines.
