Job title: Lead Instrumentations & Control Systems (I&C) Engineer

Location: Tripoli Office (City Based), Libya
Contractual period: One year employment - renewable.
Work Cycle: 65 working days on - 21 days off.
Working Hours: 6 days a week - 8 hours a day
Required qualifications and skills:
- Minimum 18 years work experience in oil & gas industry
- Sound working knowledge in instrumentations and control systems.
- Must have experience with well-known and reputable Engineering and Consultant firms.
- Should have some work experience in Oil & Gas production and operating companies.
- Must have a Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Should have sound computer skills.
- Should have experience in preparation & checking of Instrument Data sheet, Cause & Effect Matrix and instrument Index.
- Preparation of Technical queries and Technical Bid Analysis of the various supplier's offers for DCS, ESD, PLC
- Preparation of Auxiliary console layout, system block diagram, cable block diagram etc.
- Preparation of Instrument MTO & Estimated Man Hours
- Sizing calculation of control valves, safety valves, orifice plates, etc.
- Participate in safety reviews / process hazardous analysis and ensure safe and cost effective design in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Should be familiar with N. America codes and Standards in instrumentations and control systems area of the oil and gas industry.
- Should be able to review and approve P&ID's, Data Sheers, cable sizing and routing, DCS, ESD, Drawings and Documents with respect to instrumentation & control systems specifications.
- Should have excellent communications skills and Coordinate technical efforts between the piping team and the other disciplines
