Job title: ESP Electrical Submersible Pumps Specialist

Location: Tripoli Office (City Based), Libya
Contractual period: One year employment - renewable.
Work Cycle: 53 working days on - 20 days off.
Working Hours: 6 days a week - 8 hours a day
Position responsibilities:
- Improving artificial lift performance through operations and failure analysis to achieve continuous improvement.
- Review/diagnose artificial lift performance for production optimization and run life improvements, troubleshooting, managing the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RFCA).
- Inspects work progress/completed work through site visits and/or review of work records to ensure proper and timely execution.
- Coordinate down-hole remediation work with contractors.
- Evaluation of ESP Performance on duty and issue final report as guidance for future operations.
- Ensure all artificial lift working procedures are in place and periodically reviewed.
- Shortening the timeline between ESP failure, root cause identification, and equipment repair.
- Support field staff and operation engineers in problematic well troubleshooting.
- Liaise with rig crew regarding the position and electrical hook up of ESP installation equipment.
- Liaise with Reservoir Management Teams in optimizing ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) installations.
- Liaise with rig crew on equipment handling and method of deployment.
- Prepare equipment for back loading in a safe and secure manner.
- Participate in all client driven safety initiatives.
- Developing the skills of the assigned Cable Technician & rig crew in all aspects of ESP deployment, retrieval and associated equipment preparation, operation and handling.
- Participation in operational planning.
- Preparation of installation tools, equipment and consumables.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent High Diploma in Engineering, preferred in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
